Since our founding in 1902 , McGill Baptist Church has been a place where faith, hope, love, and community come together in meaningful ways. Located in Concord, North Carolina, we are a welcoming congregation with deep roots in the Baptist tradition and an enduring commitment to sharing Christ’s love through worship, service, and spiritual growth.
At McGill, we affirm the Lordship of Jesus Christ and embrace the historic Baptist principles of soul freedom, the priesthood of all believers, local church autonomy, and the importance of Scripture. We are part of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and identify with the moderate Baptist tradition—one that honors both our heritage and our responsibility to be the hands and feet of Christ in today’s world.
Our worship is rooted in rich traditions that reflect reverence and beauty, yet we are also forward-looking. We offer programs and ministries for all ages that meet the changing needs of our members and the broader community. OUR History
Founded in 1902, McGill Baptist Church began as a small congregation committed to serving the spiritual needs of the growing Concord community. Over the years, McGill has grown alongside the city it calls home, remaining rooted in faith and dedicated to ministry. Today, McGill Baptist continues to be a vital presence in Concord and beyond—a welcoming church family committed to worship, service, and sharing the love of Christ with all.
