VISION AND VALUES
Recent congregational meetings have provided valuable insights into the aspirations of our members for McGill. The congregation consistently values our inclusive and welcoming environment, as well as the meaningful worship experiences created by our music ministries – including handbells, guitar ensemble, and choirs.
Missions have always been an integral part of outreach. We are proud of the various continuing community projects and mission trips. Some of our past trips have included Belize, Ukraine, Guatemala, Brazil, Kenya, Arkansas, Kentucky and various counties in North Carolina.
To further strengthen our church, members identified several priorities:
- Enhance stewardship efforts to ensure we consistently meet our annual budget
- Maintain and prioritize facility upkeep recognizing our building’s importance to both the church and the wider community
- Increase volunteer engagement to support programs and committees
- Expand outreach initiatives to fulfill our mission and serve others more effectively
These focus areas will help guide our strategic planning and ensure that McGill continues to thrive as a vibrant, welcoming, and mission-driven congregation.
